8. El Esqueleto

Already part of the daily life of the inhabitants of Matanza de Acentejo, a rickety construction, without walls, whose structure is that, the closest thing to a skeleton. The Skeleton of the Slaughter is located in the area known as Puntillo del Sol, is one of the places in the municipalities with impressive views and from where you can see the island of La Palma.

The Skeleton is practically hidden in a ravine behind several tall buildings. A rather controversial place to hide the residents a stunning view of the sea and asking for years to demolish, but there it goes. It was a hotel project that was made in the 70s and that did not end up being located in a protected area, it receives the name of Costa Acentejo Protected Landscape, two buildings of 15 plants in a state of ruin .

The hermitage of San Miguel Arcángel in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, island of Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain) is located in the plaza del Adelantado. San Miguel Arcángel is the patron saint of the island of Tenerife and the City of San Cristobal de La Laguna, his image is reflected in the shields of both.
The hermitage of San Miguel, together with other surrounding old buildings, constitutes an eloquent testimony of that fully historical environment that the plaza once offered thanks to its architectural harmony.
